Pat Sharp's last painting titled "Pluto" in her "the Energy of Water" series is complete! Pat is printing all 12 paintings in her series in a 2010 calendar and on cards from this exhibition supported by her Maine Arts Commission Grant. She says she couldn't have done this work without this bit of financial support.Pat's calendar is complete and you can buy it directly form her...Depicting 12 images from the Energy of Water Show............. separate pages on acid free card stock, 8 1/2" X 11" in a folder, it is $19.95 + 3.00 for mailing.

Pat is now focused on finishing her entry in the Society of Illustrator's Illustrators 52 Competition.
Speaking of which, the deadline of Oct 30th is fast approaching! The Society of Illustrator's Illustrators 52 is a fierce competition to be in their famed annual and exhibition.
Eligibility Requirements are as follows:Any illustration created or initially published between October 1, 2008 and November 1, 2009 that has not been accepted in the Annual previously, is eligible. International entries are welcome. Each submission will receive consideration by every member of the jury for its category. Please be certain that the original art will be available for exhibition and can remain at the Society from January through March 2010. High-quality prints will be hung in the case of digitally created art only.
Both Maine Illustrator Collective Members Wade Zahares and Judith Hunt are also entering the fray with their respective illustrations and a book completed in 2009.
