Born and raised in Alaska, I moved to Maine in 1994 to attend the Maine College of Art, where I met my future husband. After graduating in 1997 we drove across the country in a 1970 RV. Eventually we returned to Maine to get married on an Island beach and raise our family in a yellow house with purple doors.
When I am not working in my studio, I am exploring with my two amazing children and dreaming of buying another RV, converting it to a studio on wheels, and becoming a "road schooling" family. Become a Fan of my page on Facebook for a chance to win one of my frequent giveaways!

My gouache and acrylic paintings are rich in color and metaphor, they tell the stories that celebrate life, love, friends and family in all their various modern forms. Adventures with my children, memories, dreams, fables, and the occasional song lyric, inspire me to spend each day painting. My work has been published in "Welcome Home" magazine and can be found in personal collections across the United States.
