Nicki Fazio at Maine Historical Society

Join me this Saturday, Feb 26th at the Maine Historical Society in downtown Portland for a fun event. In celebration of Longfellow's birthday, MHS is hosting an afternoon of poetry, art activities, cake, and more--and it's FREE! I'll be there for a while with a big pad of paper sketching quick scenes from a poem or two of Longfellow's, while children and families can watch the drawing process. The art will then be hung for the duration of the party. Also, for sale in the MHS museum store is my children's book, "My Maine"!
